Find your place in the life and
worship of the Church!

Need Prayer? We’ll Pray For You

We would love to pray for you. You can send us a message to ask for prayer.
Children’s Ministry
Children are always welcome in our worship services.  For the “under 4” bunch, we provide a nursery staffed with two adults and lots of toys during the 10 a.m. service every Sunday.  All children are brought to church in time to receive communion with their parents.
Youth Ministry
Our youth programs provide space for teens in 6th to 12th grade to discover who they are, discover who God is, grow in faith, and learn to live with purpose in our world. Click HERE for more information.
Children’s Chapel
Children in grades K to 6 are invited to attend “Children’s Chapel” during the first part of the 10 a.m. worship service.  The Gospel lesson is shared with them in a “kid-friendly” way and they are encouraged to pray and sing with our adult leaders.  Children return to church for the Holy Communion portion of our service.
VBS 2019 – Paul’s Journey to Share the Truth
If  you love to sing God’s praises, we have a place for you! The choir practices on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. with Choir Director Michelle Mitchell, and sings at the 10 a.m. service.
Daughters of the King
(DOK) prayer ministry
“Prayer actually does change things.  We may not always know how.  We may not always see the end result…but prayer changes things because prayer brings God into our conscious focus and in some mysterious way, prayer …changes the equation of life.” DOK manual
Contact Pam McIntire for more information about this important prayer ministry at St. John’s.
Women’s Bible Study
Almost every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. you will find a group of women meeting in Carpenter Hall for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.  Contact Geri Campbell for more information.
Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study
Since our guys are big believers in multi-tasking, they meet every Tuesday morn
ing at 8 a.m. at the IHOP in Denison for breakfast, a  study of the week’s lessons, and some lively discussion.  The guys share prayer requests and get to know one another as friends in Christ. Contact Willie Green for more information.
St. John’s offers our members the opportunity to purchase space in our Columbarium for themselves and their immediate family members.
Our solid granite columbarium is surrounded by a small memorial garden that provides a lasting, peaceful place for cremated remains.
